To pupils attending the Chateau de Sauveterre, their families and friends - welcome to the Peyloubère website.

For over ten years it has been a great pleasure to welcome Sauveterre families to the Domaine de Peyloubère.  The cottages and B&B suites have offered a temporary home to many families during exeats and half-terms.  On several occasions, parents or grand-parents have even taken up residence for a month or more to enjoy life in France at the same time as their children are discovering it.

We are acutely aware that the time spent 'en famille' is very precious to children, parents and friends alike.  We have therefore learnt from experience and designed our long weekend package to respond to your needs and requests.  So whether the priority is to get out and about and explore the area, or to relax and just be 'at home' for a few days' respite from the fun and excitement of school life, Peyloubère will provide you with the comfort, convenience, facilities and flexibility which will make your stay a happy and a memorable one.

  • Accommodation - we offer either self catering cottages OR bed and breakfast
  • Prices - special all-inclusive package for Sauveterre families including 15% discount, free end-of-stay clean, basic provisions and shopping service
  • Facilities - heated swimming pool, Spa, tennis, fishing lake, 35-acre park - and that's just at Peyloubere!

Accommodation

Self-catering cottages

From October to May, three self-catering cottages are available for short stays of up to four nights; 'Les Cedres' which accommodates up to seven people, 'Giulietta' for six and 'Les Rosiers' for four people.  All are centrally-heated and Rosiers has a fireplace.  These are joined by 'Les Iris' during June and September which sleeps up to five guests; the cottage is only partially heated and is therefore closed during the winter months.  For full details of the cottages and their equipment as well as photographs, go to Self Catering and then select the appropriate cottage.

Bed and Breakfast - 'The Garden Room', 'The Cavaglieri Suite' and 'the Rosegarden Suite'

In the south-west wing of the listed 17th century Manoir, Peyloubère offers two suites of rooms, each for two people and available all the year round for a single night or long stay.  Due to an increasing demand for B&B from Sauveterre families, we have added comfortable sofabeds to both suites making a spacious family room with bathroom and a superb family suite with two bedrooms and bathroom, each for three people.  Both suites have comfortable seating, dining table and chairs and there is a fridge in the downstairs entrance hall for cold drinks and snack foods if you do not wish to eat out all the time.

To cater for families with two children, for the first time this year we are offering 'les Rosiers' either as a self-catering cottage (see above) or as a bed and breakfast suite for two adults and two children when it will be called 'the Rosegarden Suite'.  The accommodation comprises a spacious double bedroom with 1.5m bed, a second bedroom with large bunk beds, shower room and large living room with magnificent beamed fireplace.
