French Self-Catering
Cottages on 17th Century Château Domaine
The Domaine de Peyloubère is a 35-acre château estate located near Auch in the heart of Gascony,
South West France. It has five self-catering properties,
all totally refurbished and re-equipped during the last two years. They accommodate up to 4,
5,6,7 and 8 people.
Unlike many French cottages or Gites, the self-catering cottages are not
conversions but have been homes since their construction in the 17th century. Each cottage has its own
garden and guests have the exclusive use of the 40ft fresh water swimming pool.
There is also a Spa with sauna,
5-person health spa and
private garden and sunbathing terrace.
Peyloubère
is a 'Monument Historique' and each vacation cottage has been sympathetically
refurbished to maintain as many original features as possible. All
this as well as 35 acres of woodland, lakes and gardens and lots to do and see nearby, makes
Peyloubère
an ideal holiday or touring location.
Peyloubère also offers bed & breakfast (chambres
d'hôte) in two suites of rooms in the Manoir. Chambre d'hote guests have use of
the owners separate heated swimming pool.
The Martin family purchased the Domaine in 1997
and took up full time residence on 14th July 1999. Kerensa, who is 23, is
living and working in Brighton, England while Max, who is 16, goes to the Lycée Oratoire Ste Marie in
Auch. They have two Burmese cats and two Labradors,
firm favourites with guests.

We hope that the information and photographs on
these pages give you some idea of the unique beauty and atmosphere of the
Domaine and we look forward to welcoming you to Peyloubère
in the near future.
