Antiques & Brocante

Antiques Fairs and Brocante markets are held throughout the season.  Advertising posters appear on hoardings and in the local newspapers during the week preceding the event. 

There are also many shops in the area which vary from 'junk shops' to high quality retailers.  We detail a selection of these below.  Please note that opening hours are often somewhat erratic and therefore telephone numbers have been included where possible :-

Preignan Broc & Troc - on the road to Fleurance, the small warehouse is on your right as you come into Preignan.  Easy to miss - if you get to a roundabout with a large tractor depot on your left, you have gone too far - 05 62 65 57 12 furniture and bric a brac

Good quality antiques as well as small and interesting items - well worth a visit.

Turning on the right almost immediately after Antony's. You really have to hunt but bargains can be found.

You will find these and several others in Fleurance - look out for Brocante signs. Les Puces Fleurantines, ie flea markets, are also held as advertised during summer holidays.

All towns and almost every village boast at least one Brocante so look out for the signs, both on the outskirts and in the town.  Good hunting !
