Being situated so close to Auch, the departmental capital of Le Gers and the heart of Gascony, the Domaine de Peyloubère is an ideal location for a French Bed and Breakfast Holiday.

French Bed and Breakfast Holidays or a Self-catering Cottage in France><font size= In the South West wing of the listed 17th century Manoir, Peyloubère offers two chambre d'hôtes, each for two people. These are located in the rooms occupied by Mario Cavaglieri and his family during their ownership of Peyloubère from the mid-1920s to the artist's death in 1969. Many of the rooms feature frescoed ceilings and painted cupboards created by Cavaglieri and have been restored to make the most of the paintings while also ensuring the comfort of our guests. The suites are available for short or long stays and are ideal for a weekend break. Table d'hôte (an evening meal with the family) is available on request.

Although located in the Manoir which is also occupied by your hosts and the family pets, the suites have a separate entrance to ensure privacy. B & B guests are free to enjoy all parts of the Domaine as well as the private family garden, heated fresh water swimming pool and health spa (see picture) with 5-person therapeutic spa, sauna, sunbathing terrace and garden. There are also five self catering vacation cottages on the estate - each with their own private garden and sharing a separate swimming pool.

Due to its classification as a Monument Historique, the Manoir is a non-smoking building as smoke adversely affects the painted ceilings. This includes both chambres d'hote.

Ideal location for tranquility or touring .....

The location of Peyloubère makes it an ideal centre for exploring or touring the area as well as a peaceful hideaway for weekends away from the bustle and pressure of the city. Its 35-acre estate of gardens, lakes and tall trees offers a rich variety of settings in which to relax and enjoy the beauty and healing tranquility of the Domaine; beside the pool, in the invigorating atmosphere of the Spa or finding peace and seclusion in the woodland glade beside the summerhouse and lake. A myriad of animals and birds inhabit the grounds and there are a variety of fish in the lake and river for those who wish to try their hand at angling.

And yet every facility is close at hand.

The village of Pavie is a 5-minute walk and provides all everyday needs as well as a bar/restaurant, tennis and riding. The busy centre of Auch, the capital of Gascony, is only a few kilometers away and has everything expected of a regional capital - two weekly markets, a wide variety of cafés and Restaurants and modern and traditional shopping.

Several airports serve the area, the closest being Toulouse (Blagnac) which is 55 minutes east of Auch, then Pau which is approximately 90 minutes away. Bordeaux, Carcassonne and Biarritz are approximately two hours drive from Peyloubère. In addition, Toulouse is easily accessible by train from numerous European destinations and there is a regular service between Toulouse and Auch.
